  1. All of those Indian tailors are not Indian; I know of a few who are Nepalese.
  2. Since there is no communist block anymore, does that mean there are no Second World Countries?
  3. You would think that would be newsworthy.
  4. I have often heard of Third World countries, but never hear any country referred to as First World or Second World. Strange!
  5. I still haven't seen any news article about it.
  6. I haven't even seen any statistics about it.
  7. That certainly isn't necessarily the case in Pattaya.
  8. BC, I think that is the best way to handle it. No use in getting pissed off or being rude to the vendors who are just trying to eke out a living.
  9. If someone got money back from AA maybe it was because they had purchased the insurance and had a good enough reason to cancel.
  10. I don't know why, but the naivete of some people still astonishes me.
  11. That's the first time I have ever seen that acronym. He may not be POTUS, but he is still as dumb as a post. I think Carter has enough to do with his Habitat for Humanity to keep him busy.
  12. Since I don't have a clue as to what a potus is, I don't know if I agree with you or not.
  13. It's good the W has Slick to show him where Haiti is located.
  14. Even when I know my size I always try shoes on before I buy them. I thought that was the normal thing to do.
  15. Not only for their children, but for society as a whole by not have more fucked up people running around.
  16. Don't worry, I haven't looked at them and don't intend to look.
  17. I don't know about anyone else, but I have a hard time watching or viewing pictures of these kinds of things. Maybe I am just too squeamish.
  18. The tax code was written by wealthy politicians, so naturally it benefits the wealthy.
  19. Regarding sizes, why not just try the shoes on and when you find ones that fit, look at the size?
  20. In Tiger's case there are children involved and I think if he and his wife can work out their problems it would be a good thing. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying they should stay together for the sake of the children. I am saying working on the relationship would be a benefit.
  21. Was there something in the newspaper about it? Who was he?
  22. I agree, but first the work needs to be done if you want a relationship to work.
  23. No wonder I was confused, you were referencing a post from more than a month ago with no mention of that post.
  24. There is a factory in Northern Minnesota which makes the Tickle Me Elmo toys. The toy laughs when you tickle it under the arms. Well, Lena is hired at The Tickle Me Elmo factory and she reports for her first day promptly at 8:00 am. The next day at 8:45 am there is a knock at the Personnel Manager's door. The Foreman throws open the door and begins to rant about the new Employee. He complains that she is incredibly slow and the whole line is backing up, putting the entire production line behind schedule. The Personnel Manager decides he should see this for himself, so the 2 men march down to the factory floor. When they get there the line is so backed up that there are Tickle Me Elmo's all over the factory floor and they're really beginning to pile up. At the end of the line stands Lena surrounded by mountains of Tickle Me Elmo's. She has a roll of plush Red fabric and a huge bag of small marbles. The 2 men watch in amazement as she cuts a little piece of fabric, wraps it around two marbles and begins to carefully sew the little package between Elmo's legs. The Personnel Manager bursts into laughter. After several minutes of hysterics he pulls himself together and approaches Lena . 'I'm sorry,' he says to her, barely able to keep a straight face, 'but I think you misunderstood the instructions I gave you yesterday...' 'Your job is to give Elmo two test tickles.
