I will be surprised if the court rules to return his money.

A few years ago, my then bf was able to get a Schengen visa through the Austrian embassy in BKK. We had researched the required documents, got everything in order, took the papers to the embassy and got the visa the next day without any trouble whatsoever without the use of a consultant.

He has been released from the hospital and seems to be doing well.

Some of my favorites in Pattaya in no particular order are:

Casa Pascal, Mata Hari, Posidon, Little Italy, La Villa Bali, and Cabbages and Condoms. Also the seafood restaurant down in Bang Saray. I don't know the name of it, but it is right on the water. Good views and seafood and not expensive.

Another office annoyance was meetings that went on for too long with nothing accomplished while work was piling up.

San Francisco gets a lot of Chinese tourists. I am not sure about other places. The Chinese who come to Thailand are horrible. They are pushy, loud and rude. At shows like Alcazar, Tiffany and Alankarn they never stop talking during the show.

The Russians, although, not as bad as the Chinese (IMHO)can be extremely rude. They take up more than one seat on baht buses and have no qualms about drinking beer and smoking on the baht buses. They don't speak Thai or English and get rude when Thais don't know what they are saying. I knew a guy who worked as a receptionist in a hotel where many Russians stay here in Pattaya and he said he had many problems with them.

It depends on the kind of glass. I just put the bag the coffee comes in into a Ziplock bag and into the freezer. For one thing the Ziplock takes up less room that a glass container.

I wouldn't put much stock in what Madonna has to say. There is bad publicity - just ask Tiger Woods.

You are right BC, coffee begins to lose flavor as soon as it is ground. It is best to keep even the whole beans in the freezer to preserve the flavor unless you buy small amounts and use them up quickly.

I just looked at the photo of the victim when she was 13 and believe me she looks no where near 18. She looks like a typical 13-14 or maybe 15 year old. Anyone who would have sex with a girl that young is a pedophile.

It is not all Thai Muslims who are causing the problems, just a small group who seem to be without an identified leader. They are wanting to have a separate country of their own, not to be part of Malaysia.

I find that most coffee here is instant and not very good. When I want good coffee, other than at home, I go to Starbucks or Black Canyon.

I would prefer them to have a long slow torturous killing.

The food was not fresh tasting, many items were "finished" and the buffet was unsightly. I have never been back.

I was pointing out that Blacks don't use nigger, which is a derogatory word; they use nigga, which for them to use among themselves is not derogatory.

Think it's innapropriate for whites to use nigga as well as nigger.
