DNA evidence frees Florida man. After spending 35 years in prison this individual was freed. He is 54 years old now 19 when imprisoned. He will be compensated by the state of Florida, however

I don't think any amount will buy back all those years. Think about where you were, and what you were doing 35 years ago. I wonder how many more are unjustly imprisoned world wide.

Last year Florida passed a law that means Mr Bain is entitled to $1.75m (£1.08m) for the time he spent in jail while innocent.

The Florida law states he is entitled to $50,000 a year for every year of unjust incarceration. Although that looks like a lot of money, I bet it was hell spending three and a half decades in jail.
