Important factors about Simsiriwong are her extracurricular activity and where she comes from. Simsiriwong is a member of Marshall University’s women’s golf team. Originally born in Thailand, she moved to Starkville, Miss. at an adolescent age. “It was my dream to play division one golf since I was very young,” Simsiriwong said. “Even though I am only a freshman, and it’s only been a little over a semester, I have gained so much from just experiences here at Marshall University.” Her parents wanted their daughters to grow up in the United States in order to live a much better life.
