Tour de Asia is an up and coming travel company in Thailand and looking to spread throughout S.E. Asia and we are looking for one special Sales/Marketing candidate that is wanting to grow with us. While we organize and operate many events here in Thailand, our specialty is charity events and we are looking for someone that is motivated and really likes to be involved in these type of activities. Our office is located in Hua Hin but we will accept applicants who live in Bangkok, Hua Hin, or anywhere in between because we travel frequently between Hua Hin and Bangkok.
Responsibilities:
- Individual and Retail Sales
- Corporate Sales - Selling Event Sponsorship Opportunities to Companies
- Assist in creating sales and sponsorship proposals.
- Prepare and Distribute "Thank You" packages for customers and sponsors.
- Cold Calling - Setting Up Appointments
- Distribution of Promotional Items and Materials
- Account Maintenance
- Inventory
- Assisting in the organization of events.
- Communicate progress with management.
- Achieve Monthly Sales Quotas
Requirements:
- Thai National between the ages of 21 and 35
- Willing to travel frequently between Bangkok and Hua Hin, Occassionally throughout Thailand, and eventually Internationally at times.
- Able to communicate well in English both verbally and written.
- Willing to work long hours when needed, but have plenty of time off at other times.
- Professional and able to deal with diverse groups of people.
- Outgoing, friendly, and eager to work as a team.
- Efficient on the computer with MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Familiar with the concept "Work Hard, Play Hard"

I truly believe that Thailand is one of the greatest places in the world to ride a bicycle. You'll notice I said "Thailand", and not "Bangkok" even though you can get out on a bike and really enjoy yourself in Bangkok too if you know where to go. I lived in Bangkok for more than 3 years before I finally took one of those bicycle day tours that takes you across the river and it opened my eyes to a whole new side of Bangkok. Try My link or any one of the others offering tours over there daily - it will blow your mind. I personally still prefer to ride outside of Bangkok, and most of all Along the Beautiful Beaches of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province - Sea, Mountains, Farmland, and Nature at it's best.
Other things that make me Love Thailand are:
Cold Beer (well, I don't drink much anymore), Hot Women (I'm madly in love and engaged to be married but I still enjoy seeing beautiful women), Friendly Smiles (some may be fake, but better than frowns or snears), SEAFOOD!!!, Warm Weather Year Round, Some of my Favorite Foods in the Whole World, Fresh Fruits, Watermelon Year Round - and Shakes Too!, Mangos, Mangosteen, Lychee, Value for the Money, and True Freedom. America is supposed to be a "Free Country", but I have never had the freedoms that I do here, especially after 9/11.
