golf vacations have in recent years increased in popularity. The
Country has a large number of golf resorts which provide accommodation
and an array of facilities for the holiday golfer. Bangkok alone
has over 30 quality golf courses.
Other golfing domains in the
Country are; Pattaya, Kanchanaburi and Phuket. The Country
hosts a number of professional and amateur tournaments each
year including
the prestigious Bangkok Airways Open which is the highlight
of the local golfing calendar. The tournament is also part
of the
Asian PGA Tour Circuit.
Thailand golf vacations are comparably low cost. For a day out
on the green, you would expect to pay between 700 and 800 Baht
and depending on the facility could include a caddie and a golf
cart.
